Background
The U.S. Government, specifically the U.S. Embassy in Harare, Zimbabwe, is seeking to procure health insurance services for its Locally Employed Staff (LES) and their dependents. 2. Ensuring timely payment of benefits within 30 calendar days.
3. Maintaining a quality assurance plan to monitor service delivery and address any complaints.
4. Offering a comprehensive list of medical providers included under the plan.
5. Establishing procedures for claims processing, including special considerations for members with chronic illnesses and out-of-country procedures.
6. Demonstrating a clear understanding of pandemic coverage policies and pharmaceutical coverage procedures.
7. Providing a detailed management plan that includes the qualifications of key personnel, particularly a Project Manager with at least five years of relevant experience.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on August 01, 2026, with an initial base year followed by four optional one-year periods that may be exercised at the discretion of the government.
