Local Guard Services for Belgium   4

Background
The U.S. Department of State (DOS) requires a qualified Contractor to provide Local Guard Services to support the U.S. Mission in Brussels, Belgium.

The goal of this contract is to ensure a secure environment for the mission, preventing loss or injury to U.S. personnel and property, and deterring potential terrorist attacks.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide an organizational structure, management, and qualified staff at levels adequate to meet or exceed the requirements outlined in the Performance Work Statement.

Specific tasks include:
1. Preventing loss or injury to U.S. personnel, dependents, and property;
2. Preventing destruction of assets;
3. Preventing unauthorized access;
4. Deter potential terrorist attacks.

All contracted personnel must pass a background investigation conducted by both the Contractor and the U.S. Government to certify their suitability for employment under this contract.

Period of Performance
The anticipated period of performance is one base year with four one-year options that may be exercised at the sole discretion of the Government.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed in Brussels, Belgium.
