Loading Dock Shelter/Seals - Linden, NJ   3

Background
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is issuing this solicitation for the replacement of loading dock door shelters and seals at the Linden Plant Inspection Station (PIS) in Linden, NJ. The goal of this contract is to remove and replace five dock seals that have deteriorated due to wear and tear, ensuring that the new installations meet or exceed the quality of the existing seals.

This project is part of USDA's mission to maintain operational efficiency and safety at its facilities.

Work Details
The contractor will provide the following products and services:
- **Dock Door Shelters/Seals**: 5 sets of new dock shelters/seals, specifically SH402-36-Soft Sided or similar.
- **Removal and Disposal**: Removal and disposal of 5 old shelters/seals.
- **Installation**: Installation of 5 new shelters/seals.

**Specifications for Dock Shelters**:
- Truck shelter must be a full access, soft side shelter made from high-density vinyl covered foam, eliminating the need for protective steel bumpers.
- Dimensions: Header curtain height is 3'; front opening is 7'6" W x 8' H; overall size is 11’6” x 11' x 36" deep.
- Accommodates trucks ranging from 12' to 13'6" high and designed for trucks that are 8' wide as well as newer models that are 8'6" wide.

**Shipping Details**:
- Material to be shipped to Linden PIS at 1500 Lower Rd, Linden NJ 07036. Unloading and storage will be the responsibility of the purchaser.
