Liturgical Service Pianist

Background
The contract is issued by the U.S. Army Garrison (USAG) Humphreys to provide non-personal pianist services for the Christ The King Liturgical Service at Pacific Victors Chapel.
The goal of this contract is to ensure consistent musical accompaniment during worship services, special events, and rehearsals, thereby supporting the spiritual needs of the military community.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform non-personal pianist services at Pacific Victors Chapel.
Specific tasks include:
1. Weekly Sunday Services: Provide musical accompaniment for 52 services from 0900-1100 hours.
2. Weekly Rehearsals: Provide accompaniment for up to 52 rehearsals, scheduled with the senior chaplain.
3. Special Services: Provide accompaniment for up to 12 special services as determined by the staff chaplain.
4. Special Service Rehearsals: Provide accompaniment for up to 12 rehearsals for special services.
5. The contractor must arrive 20 minutes prior to each service and remain throughout its duration.
The pianist must have at least two years of formal training in piano performance and two years of experience as a church musician within the last five years.

Period of Performance
The period of performance is one base year (12 months) starting from January 1, 2025, with four optional years extending through December 31, 2029.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Pacific Victors Chapel, USAG Humphreys.
