Background
The solicitation is issued by the Southwestern Power Administration (SWPA), a part of the U.S. Department of Energy, which is responsible for marketing and delivering hydroelectric power generated at federal dams.
The goal of this contract is to procure Liquid Oxygen (LOX) for use at the Table Rock Dam Powerhouse, supporting operations essential to the agency's mission.

Work Details
The contract involves the purchase and delivery of Liquid Oxygen (LOX) in bulk, with specific requirements:
- LOX must consist of a minimum of 99.5% oxygen and less than 0.5% inert gas, with a dew point of minus 80 degrees Fahrenheit or lower.
- Deliveries will be made to the Table Rock Dam Powerhouse, which has an 80-ton LOX storage and injection facility operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
- The actual quantities required may vary between zero (0) tons and three thousand (3,000) tons over the term of the agreement, with daily orders ranging from zero (0) to forty (40) tons.
- The supplier must provide twenty-four (24) hours’ advance notice for scheduled deliveries, primarily occurring Monday through Friday between 7:30 am and 4:00 pm, with potential evening and weekend deliveries as needed.
- The supplier is responsible for transportation and unloading at the Corps facility.
