Background
The Phoenix Area Indian Health Service (IHS) is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) to enhance understanding of market capabilities, industry recommendations, and best practices for Linen Rental and Laundry Services.

The Fort Yuma Health Care Center (FYHCC), located in Winterhaven, California, oversees healthcare delivery to approximately 14,000 Native Americans, primarily from the Cocopah and Quechan tribal communities. FYHCC is an IHS ambulatory care facility providing various health services.

Work Details
The FYHCC seeks to procure Linen Rental and Laundry Services that comply with standards set by the American Institute of Laundering, Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and relevant federal, tribal, state, and local regulations regarding biohazardous waste.

Required services include:
1. Linen Rental with a defined pickup/delivery schedule and special controls during transportation.
2. Laundering Services including:
- Separation of laundry sorting areas from processing and packing areas.
- Management of laundry plant facilities.
- Inspection of all linen and garments at the laundry site to ensure cleanliness and serviceability; items found unserviceable must be returned for rental credit.

The contract will be performed at the Fort Yuma Health Care Center located at 401 E. Picacho Rd., Winterhaven, CA 92283.
