Limited Sources Justification ProofPoint (ET) Pro Ruleset

The U.S. Department of State Office of Acquisition Management conducted an acquisition to supports the Intrusion and Detection infrastructure of the network to detect and block security threats to the enterprise on behalf of the Infrastructure and Platform Support (IPS) group, a branch within the Department of State's Bureau of Diplomatic Security, Directorate of Cyber and Technology Security, Office of Cyber Monitoring and Operations, Cyber Operations Division (DS/CTS/CMO/CO).

The award was a new delivery order for ProofPoint (ET) Pro Ruleset software and maintenance support, on a limited-sources Justification For Limiting Sources on the Federal Supply Schedule Program, in accordance with FAR 8.405-6(b). The acquisition was conducted under the authority of the Multiple-Award Schedule Program (41 U.S.C 152(3), and 40 U.S.C. 501), as implemented by FAR 8.4.

The attached limited sources justification is hereby published to the Government wide Point of Entry www.fedbizopps.gov within 14 days after issuance of the delivery order, as required by FAR 8.405-6(a)(2).
