Description

This notice is to post the Limited Sources Justification in accordance with FAR 8.405-6.

Background
The Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) Executive Office (PEO) Background Investigation Enterprise Systems (BIES) PMO intends to issue an order on a limited source basis to an International Business Machines (IBM) authorized reseller via GSA eBuy under Authority 8.405-6(b). The requirement is for procurement of 2,000 IBM Rational Host Integration Solution (HIS) for Multiplatforms, Concurrent User for System Z, Annual Software (SW) Subscription & Support (S&S) for IBM Rational HIS licensed SW which DCSA utilizes to allow users to connect to the environment. The order will be a one-year, firm fixed price contract.

Work Details
DCSA requires annual software subscription & support (S&S) for IBM Rational Host Integration Solution (HIS) for Multiplatforms Concurrent User for System Z License + SW Subscription for Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA). The required software license is as follows: Product: IBM RATIONAL HIS FOR MULTIPLATFORMS, CONCURRENT USER FOR SYSTEM Z, ANNUAL SW SUBSCRIPTION & SUPPORT; Quantity: 2000. The total estimated value for this order is Defense Working Capital Funds (DWCE).
