Description

The NICHD Office of Information Technology requires continued planning and technical support for IT application and web site development and maintenance, web application infrastructure guidance, and other on-site technical services, NICHD and/or NIH Wide. The focus of these IT support activities is the creation, development, maintenance, operation, and support of a web application infrastructure that provides an efficient, effective, reliable, and secure computing environment in support of NICHD's mission and supports NICHD staff in the efficient and effective utilization of these capabilities.

Background
The National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) Office of Information Technology requires ongoing planning and technical support for IT application and website development, maintenance, and web application infrastructure guidance.

The goal is to create, develop, maintain, operate, and support a web application infrastructure that ensures an efficient, effective, reliable, and secure computing environment in alignment with NICHD's mission.

Work Details
The contractor will provide continued planning and technical support for the following tasks:
1. IT application and website development and maintenance.
2. Web application infrastructure guidance.
3. On-site technical services for NICHD and/or NIH-wide initiatives.

The focus is on supporting NICHD staff in utilizing these capabilities effectively. The services are aimed at maintaining a robust web application infrastructure that supports approximately 50 applications critical to NICHD's operations.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to be performed from May 17, 2022, through August 16, 2025.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the NICHD facilities.
