1/30/2023 Another questions and answer: Question: What are the specific specifications on the pump, primarily the flow rate, system pressure, and voltage of pump motor?

Answer: The pump was specified to provide 20 gallons per minute. This is the performance based spec we discussed on the phone and our most important requirement. Net head could be used to assist with specifying a pump but we considered this to be part of the depth criteria. We're tracking that the specs included a nearby well log that indicated that the head would be roughly 45' but that ultimately depends on the depth of the new well. As such, one could estimate the head of the system as roughly 50' but this is impossible to know without drilling the well. Most pumps operate on a 3 phase 208 VAC. We have that available but the vendor could also use a single phase of that if they wanted. (120VAC) We also have 3 phase 480 VAC available and the vendor could use a single phase of that if they desired. (277 VAC) These options are all available and represent all of the common voltages used commercially for these types of pumps. As such, we didn't specify it because we can do basically anything here. In other words, we wouldn't reject this based on a voltage requirement. We don't have a system pressure requirement, just a flow rate requirement.
