Background
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) is responsible for research and development, test and evaluation, engineering, and fleet support for the Navy’s ships, submarines, military watercraft, and unmanned vehicles. The requirement is for NSWCPD Code 413, which is responsible for various seawater and freshwater centrifugal pumps. The LHD-1 Class ships utilize steam turbine-driven main feed pumps (MFP) to provide water to propulsion boilers. NSWCPD Code 413 and Code 536 developed Ship Change Document (SCD) 26365 to replace the existing MFPs with an upgraded design.

Work Details
The Main Feed Pump (MFP) unit will be driven by a steam turbine on a common solid shaft (no couplings). Pumps shall be horizontally mounted. The contract maximum is the total amount of all items; twenty-one (21) Turbine Driven Main Feed Pumps and twelve (12) Spare Parts and Special Tools Kits. The maximum quantity is not to be exceeded without prior approval of the Procuring.
All Delivery Orders placed under this Indefinite-Delivery-Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract will require delivery 12 months after placement of the orders regardless of quantity or items ordered.

Period of Performance
The contract will be a five (5) year contract, with a five (5) year ordering period.

Place of Performance
The products will be delivered to Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division, NSLC Detachment, 1601 Langley Ave Building 542, Philadelphia PA 19112.
