LHA/LHD CLASS PAINT SCHEDULES - EAST

NAVSEA has received an inquiry to provide LHA/LHD class paint schedules to augment ability to characterize the scope of preservation work during in-service East and West Coast availabilities . Accordingly, NAVSEA will make this information available to all interested parties qualified to conduct in-service maintenance (MAC-holders, MSRAs, and ABRs) upon receipt of a response to this posting and confirmation of ITAR compliance, in accordance with the paint schedule classification requirements.

Paint schedules are not Selected Record Drawings and therefore are not maintained over the service life of a ship. Accordingly, drawings and 009-32 remain the most accurate source of information for specific preservation work items. As such, work specifications and NSIs invoked in contracts superceede LHA/LHD Class Paint Schedules.

This notice will include restricted attachments. Potential offeror's will need to submit ITAR compliance documentation to Contract Specialist Derek Shirley at derek.s.shirley.civ@us.navy.mil, and attachments will be provided via DoD SAFE.
