Background
This procurement is issued by the USDA Forest Service for the Leroux East Stewardship IRSC project, which aims to enhance forest restoration and reduce fuels in the Upper Rio de Flag watershed in Northern Arizona.

The project aligns with the President's Executive Order 14225 and involves collaboration with the Coconino County Flood Control District to ensure public safety and ecological health.

The contract will be awarded under the R3 Southwest Stewardship BPA, specifically targeting eligible vendors for call orders.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for various land management activities, including:
1) Treatment of Stands (295 acres), which involves cutting, skidding, processing, and hauling included timber;
2) Cutting and Removal of Included Timber and TSI (311 acres);
3) Removal of all activity slash from Forest Service lands (606 acres);
4) Specified Road Work; and optional activities such as removing hand piles, down woody debris removal, snag cut and removal, and ponderosa pine pruning.

The project also includes specific requirements for managing soil disturbance, protecting wildlife habitats (e.g., Mexican Spotted Owl), and ensuring safety during operations.

Period of Performance
The contract period of performance is from the date of award through November 15th, 2026.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed in the Coconino National Forest, specifically within the Flagstaff Ranger District in Arizona.
