Leavenworth Fish Hatchery SWISP Phase II   3

Background
The Leavenworth National Fish Hatchery is part of the Columbia Basin Project in Washington. The goal of this contract is to rehabilitate the surface water intake fish screens and fish passage systems as part of Phase II of the project, which aims to enhance fish passage and improve ecological conditions in the region.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:

1. Rehabilitation of surface water intake fish screens.
2. Improvements to fish passage systems.
3. Compliance with specifications, contract drawings, and submittals as outlined in the contract documents.
4. Management of contract documents through a Contract Document Management System (CDMS) that includes generating, storing, tracking, categorizing, and managing all relevant documentation such as RFIs, RFPs, contractor proposals, inspection reports, invoices, and progress payments.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a specified period that includes multiple phases of work necessary for the completion of the rehabilitation project.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must meet the following requirements:

1. Small Business Set Aside - Total (SBA).
2. Must have at least 5 years of successful performance in providing required services related to CDMS and construction projects.
3. Ability to provide bid/payment/performance bonds as required by the contract.

The prior work for the Clear Creek Dam Fish Passage Facility (Yakima Project) involved constructing fish passage infrastructure and associated site/electrical and civil elements (e.g., fish ladder construction, coffer dam/unwatering, pumps and piping, access road, electrical upgrades), which aligns with the current Phase II rehabilitation of surface water intake fish screens and fish passage systems at Leavenworth National Fish Hatchery.
