Leased Fire Protection Facility Assessment Reports, Risk Management Surveys, and Safety & Health Risk Management Surveys at Multiple GSA Region 5 Locations   3

Background
The Fire Protection and Safety Branch of GSA Region 5 is responsible for ensuring all Federal buildings (owned and leased) are provided with an adequate level of safety. The branch serves as the authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) for GSA and issues Certificates of Occupancy for all new construction, renovations, and occupancy changes in federally owned buildings.

Work Details
The contractor is required to conduct Fire Protection Facility Assessments and Safety and Health Risk Management Surveys at multiple GSA Region 5 locations. This includes completing the Fire Protection Facility Assessment Report (FPFAR), a National Risk Management Survey (RMS) template, and the Safety and Health National Risk Management Survey (S&H RMS) templates. The surveys involve assessing major mechanical spaces, elevator machine rooms, common spaces accessible by tenants, tenant-leased occupied spaces, and Child Care Centers.
The purpose is to analyze buildings to determine the risk of injury, loss of life, property, or interruption of Federal tenant mission due to fire and/or safety & health concerns.

Period of Performance
The contractor shall have One Hundred and Seventy (170) calendar days, after being issued the Notice to Proceed (NTP), to complete the project.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at various GSA Region 5 locations including Chicago, Springfield, Indianapolis, Evansville, Lansing, Minneapolis, Columbus, Cincinnati, Dayton, Toledo, Kettering, Moraine, Milwaukee.
