Lease/Rent ARFF (Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting) Vehicles

Background
The contract involves leasing or renting two Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting (ARFF) vehicles to meet specific operational requirements.

The agency's mission is to ensure effective firefighting capabilities in aviation environments, thereby enhancing safety and emergency response.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all management, labor, equipment, transportation, tools, materials, and other items necessary to lease/rent 2 ARFF firefighting vehicles as defined in this Statement of Need.

The specific requirements for the ARFF vehicles include:
1) Chassis must be 4x4;
2) Water capacity must be either 1,000 or 1,500 gallons;
3) Foam capacity must be approximately 200 gallons;
4) Water pump capacity must be 1,520 gallons per minute (gpm);
5) Engine must be a diesel 8-cylinder engine;
6) Vehicle must be equipped with a 500-pound PKP (Purple K) Dry Chemical tank;
7) Vehicle must come equipped with all lights and sirens required by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).
