Description

Lease/Rent 2 ARFF firefighting vehicles that meets the customer's requirements below.
1.1 Scope: Unless otherwise identified herein, the contractor shall provide all management, labor,
equipment, transportation, tools, materials and other items necessary to lease/rent 2 ARFF firefighting
vehicles as defined in this Statement of Need.
1.2 Specific Tasks. 2 ARFF vehicles will meet the following requirements.
1.2.1. The chassis will be 4x4.
1.2.2. The water capacity will be 1,000 or 1500 gallons.
1.2.3. The foam capacity will be approximately 200 gallons.
1.2.4. The water pump capacity will be 1520 gpm's (gallons per minute).
1.2.5. The engine will be a diesel 8-cylinder engine.
1.2.6. The vehicle will be equipped with a 500-pound PKP (Purple K) Dry Chemical tank.
1.2.7. The vehicle will come equipped with all lights and sirens required by NFPA (National Fire
Protection Association).
