Lease of two (2) Low Pressure Air Compressor (LPAC)   3

Background
The Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (PSNS) & Intermediate Maintenance Facility (IMF), located in Bremerton, WA, is issuing this solicitation for the lease of two Low Pressure Air Compressor Systems (LPAC) to support maintenance operations at Naval Base Point Loma (NBPL) in San Diego, CA.

The goal of this contract is to provide reliable, temporary compressed air systems that meet specific operational requirements for a project availability at NBPL.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide two self-contained, fully automatic, temporary Low Pressure Air Compressor (LPAC) Systems capable of supplying up to 800 SCFM of oil-free compressed air at 120 psig with a dew point no greater than -40 degrees F.

The LPAC systems must be electrically powered and include all necessary accessory components for operation. Key tasks include:
1. Delivery and setup of the compressor systems at the project site on a pier next to a floating dry dock.
2. Start-up of the compressor systems and training of government operators.
3. Performance of all preventative maintenance as per manufacturer’s O&M manual and on-call repairs as needed.
4. Retrieval of the compressor systems upon contract completion.
5. Provision of all management, labor, equipment, tools, and parts necessary to fulfill the contract requirements.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from October 4, 2024, through December 11, 2024.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Naval Base Point Loma in San Diego, CA.
