Amendment 0001:

1. Provide responses to questions received during the Questions & Answers period (See Attachments/Links);
2. Revise paragraph 2.2.1 of the Performance Work Statement (PWS)(See Attachments/Links);
3. Update delivery date error within the FAR 52.212-1 addendum to reflect a delivery date of 1 August 2025; and
4. Confirm that the solicitation closing date and time remain unchanged.
Offerors must acknowledge this amendment in accordance with the solicitation instructions.

The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) Pacific East District requires leased adminstrative vehicles in support of schools and offices located within mainland Japan. The Contractor shall provide leased vehicles capable of transporting both passengers and cargo.

Background
The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) is a Federally operated school system responsible for managing educational programs for military families. The purpose of this contract is to provide administrative and logistical vehicle transportation services in support of DoDEA Pacific-East’s educational mission in Japan, adhering to Government of Japan (GOJ) and US Forces-Japan (USFJ) motor vehicle laws and regulations.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, materials, supervision, and services necessary for leasing vehicles, routine maintenance, and emergency repairs. The contractor must ensure that all vehicles meet applicable GOJ and USFJ motor vehicle laws throughout the contract duration. Specific vehicle requirements include:

1. 1 four-passenger sedan (2WD)
2. 7 micro/minivans (2WD)
3. 1 micro/minivan (4WD)
4. 7 eight-passenger vans (2WD)
5. 1 eight-passenger van (4WD)

All vehicles must be defect-free, safe, secure, and compliant with safety regulations. Vehicles must be either newly manufactured or used but not older than three years at the time of contract award. Each leased vehicle must have a valid manufacturer warranty during the lease period and be insured under a liability insurance policy covering specified amounts for bodily injury and property damage.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and continue through the delivery of vehicles by August 15, 2025.
