Learning Management System (LMS) Acquisition Support Services

The Learning Management System (LMS) is a software component in the USCG's training suite that automates training administration and recordation by assigning requirements to users, delivering content, recording user activity, and generating reports. The current USCG LMS and disparate system produce inefficiencies, manual processes, and use fragmented redundant systems to manage information about learning activities at the Coast Guard, which fails to support the force readiness required to execute the Coast Guard missions. The current LMS must be recapitalized to address performance gaps, achieve the vision of modernizing the learning landscape, and improving the Coast Guards remote IT capabilities. This effort will lead the way towards an "Any Time, Any Place, Any Device" learning environment.
