Lawn Service and Snow Removal Services -- Congressman Frank Evans Pueblo Distribution Center

Background
The U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO) established the Congressman Frank Evans Pueblo Distribution Center (PDC) in 1971 in Pueblo, Colorado. The PDC supports the GPO’s mission to 'Keep America Informed' by fulfilling customer orders for free federal publications.

This Statement of Work (SOW) outlines the requirement for a contractor to provide lawn maintenance and snow removal services to maintain the grounds and ensure a safe and functional exterior environment at the PDC’s leased facilities located at 31451 United Ave and 31700 Excellence Ave in Pueblo, CO.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, and materials to complete lawn maintenance and snow removal services at the specified government-leased properties. Services include:

- Lawn Service at 31451 United Ave: Mow designated grass areas, bag and dispose of clippings, edge grass around sidewalks, blow clippings from walkways, notify of broken sprinkler heads, replace damaged sprinkler heads, remove weeds and debris from a 2-foot perimeter around Warehouses 1 and 2, and regularly clean the east entrance area of debris.

- Lawn Service at 31700 Excellence Ave: Monthly weed removal from landscaped areas during June, July, August; one-time weed and debris removal from a 40-foot perimeter around the building.

- Snow Removal at 31451 United Ave: Remove snow from parking areas before 6:30 a.m., clear sidewalks, apply ice melt/sand as needed.

- Snow Removal at 31700 Excellence Ave: Remove snow from dock area and parking areas before 6:30 a.m., clear sidewalks, apply ice melt/sand as needed.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on October 1, 2025, and end on September 30, 2026. Lawn care will begin when the irrigation system is active in spring 2026 and continue for approximately 30 weeks. Snow removal will be conducted as needed based on snowfall accumulation or upon request during the contract period.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at two locations in Pueblo, Colorado: 31451 United Ave (Warehouse 1 and Warehouse 2) and 31700 Excellence Ave (Warehouse 3).
