Lawn Maintenance Services for National Agroforestry Center - Lincoln, NE   3

Background
The contract is for lawn maintenance services at the National Agroforestry Center in Lincoln, NE. The location is on the University of Nebraska campus, on land leased to the USDA-Forest Service. Services were previously performed under a combined contract for grounds maintenance and snow removal on a firm fixed price monthly basis.

Work Details
The scope of work includes lawn care service for the National Agroforestry Center, mowing and maintaining the entire lawn weekly during the growing season, weed eating, leaf collection and removal, trash and debris removal, weed control, insect and disease control, re-seeding bare spots, tree branch trimming, mulch maintenance, fertilization, aeration of grass areas annually, and using bio-based materials. The Contractor is responsible for managing the total work effort associated with the lawn care services to assure fully adequate and timely completion of these services.

Period of Performance
The contract will be awarded for a Base Period and four (4) twelve-month Option Periods. Work will only occur during the lawn care season from April to October. The period of performance is from 06/01/2022 to 03/31/2023.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at 1945 North 38th Street, East Campus Loop – UNL, Lincoln, NE.
