Law enforcement vehicle upfitting - 6 vehicles

Background
The Department of the Interior (DOI) is seeking contractors to upfit commercial vehicles to meet the DOI Office of Law Enforcement and Security (OLES) requirements for law enforcement rangers, as outlined in OLES General Order 17. The goal of this contract is to ensure that vehicles are properly equipped for law enforcement duties.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the installation of equipment on various vehicles, including but not limited to:
1. Installation of equipment for law enforcement vehicle upfitting on six specified vehicles.
2. Specific tasks include modifications for F150 and F250 vehicles, as well as RAM2500 locking mechanism upfitting.
3. The contractor must separately price work identified in the specifications from transportation costs of units.
4. The contractor reserves the right to decline transportation services if it is in their best interest.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed from August 3, 2026, to December 3, 2026.

Place of Performance
The work will be conducted at multiple locations including:
- BLM-CO Little Snake Field Office, Craig, CO
- BLM-CO Kremmling Field Office, Kremmling, CO
- BLM-CO White River Field Office, Meeker, CO
- BLM-NM Roswell Field Office, Roswell, NM
- BLM-NM Las Cruces District Office, Las Cruces, NM

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must meet the following requirements:
1. Small Business Set Aside - Total (SBA).
2. Active registration at the time offers are due and throughout the contract duration.
3. Compliance with invoicing and payment procedures with a 30-day prompt pay requirement.
4. Compliance with Service Contract Act Wages for service destination.
5. Submission of a filled in, priced and signed SF1449 form.
6. Provision of past experience and past performance information.
