Background
The U.S. Army is seeking to procure Law Enforcement Ballistic Vests as part of its mission to equip military police with protective gear. This solicitation aims to ensure that law enforcement personnel have access to high-quality, NIJ-certified ballistic vests that meet specific safety standards and operational requirements.

Work Details
The contract includes the following items:
1. Law Enforcement Ballistic Vests (Total: 50 units)
- Sizes: Small (10), Medium (10), Large (20), X-Large (10)
- Brand Name: National Body Armor
- Salient Characteristics:
- Front view features Velcro for nametape, badge, and 'MILITARY POLICE', pockets with clip closure for radio, and must be NIJ Approved. No zippered front; hook and loop side closure.
- Back view features Velcro for 'MILITARY POLICE' and adjustable side strap closures.
2. Ballistic Insert Sets (NIJ Standard 0101.06, Threat Level IIIA):
- Small: 10 sets
- Medium: 10 sets
- Large: 20 sets
- X-Large: 10 sets
3. Stab Plates (NIJ Certified Spike III Plate):
- Small: 10 plates
- Medium: 10 plates
- Large: 20 plates
- X-Large: 10 plates
4. Set of Military Police Patches (Front & Back): 50 sets
Vendors must include a specification sheet for the offered vest and ballistic/stab plates along with pictures for reference.

Period of Performance
Preferred delivery time is within 30 days from the date of order.

Place of Performance
F.O.B. destination.
