Background
The solicitation (N6883623Q0332) is set-aside 100 percent for small business. The contract is for pick-up and delivery laundry and dry cleaning services for Unaccompanied Housing at the Naval Construction Battalion Center in Gulfport, MS.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, impermeable bags, transportation and other incidentals necessary to inspect, repair, launder, press, dry clean, package, bundle, pick up and deliver bed linens. The contractor shall receive, account for, process, and return all organizational and individual items tendered for cleaning. The contractor shall provide pickup and delivery service including loading, unloading, segregating, transporting, counting/weighing and obtaining necessary documentation for items picked up or delivered. The contractor shall establish routes to gain access to the base through the commercial gate between the hours 8:00 am -2:00 pm, Tuesday through Friday. The contractor shall weigh and sort linen by like sizes and like items together to ensure full accountability of linen to be serviced. Compliance with any certifications of labeling requirements arising from state or local department of health regulations is the responsibility of the contractor.

Period of Performance
The contract is for a 12-month period from 01-OCT-2023 to 30-SEP-2024.
