Background
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Alaska Fire Service, located in Fort Wainwright, AK, has a requirement for laundry services to ensure that fire equipment is clean and serviceable. This contract aims to support the mission of the Alaska Fire Service by providing necessary laundry services for fire gear, adhering to established cleaning standards.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:

1. Pickup of fire laundry/gear on an as-needed basis.
2. Thorough cleaning, sanitizing, folding, and delivery of cleaned fire laundry/gear back to the designated pickup point.
3. Compliance with National Wildfire Coordinating Group (NWCG) cleaning standards.
4. Inventory management: The laundry must be inventoried at pickup, and the same amount must be returned once cleaned.
5. Delivery of cleaned items within seven workdays after pickup unless otherwise agreed upon in individual BPA calls.
6. Submission of a Quality Control Plan prior to the start of the contract addressing sanitizing procedures and treatment of heavily soiled items.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from April 1, 2026, to April 1, 2031.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at Fort Wainwright, Alaska.
