The removal and disposal of existing equipment. Vendor must provide training on operation and maintenance. Site Location on government installation at JBER-Richardson, Alaska 99505. Completely installed flat iron must fit within a 34 feet (L) by 16 feet (W) footprint. Connect new flat iron to existing steam, electrical and air utilities.

Background
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in the format in Subpart 12.6, as well as Subpart 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation is for the provision and installation of commercial grade laundry flat iron system at JBER-Richardson, Alaska 99505. The requirement is solicited under ‘Other than Full and Open competition’ as a 100% Small Business set-aside.

Work Details
The contract requires the provision and installation of a commercial grade laundry flat iron system, including a spreader/feeder, a 120” width 3 roll 32” diameter steam heated ironer, and a 4 lane folder/cross-folder with large piece stacker and conveyor. The completely installed flat iron must fit within a 34 feet (L) by 16 feet (W) footprint and must be connected to existing steam, electrical, and air utilities. The vendor must also provide training on operation and maintenance.

Period of Performance
Delivery of all items shall be made no later than 120 days after contract award (ARO).

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the government installation at JBER-Richardson, Alaska 99505.
