Laundering and Replacement of Fire Resistant Coveralls   2

Background
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) is a Department of Defense entity responsible for research and development, test and evaluation, engineering, and fleet support for the Navy’s ships, submarines, military watercraft, and unmanned vehicles.

This requirement is specifically for the Naval Foundry and Propeller Center (NFPC), which designs, manufactures, and repairs propellers for the US Navy. The contract is for non-personal services related to laundering and maintaining fire-resistant coveralls to promote a safe work environment.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide weekly onsite pickup and laundering services for fire-resistant coveralls, necessary repair services, delivery of clean laundered coveralls, and possible procurement of replacement fire-resistant coveralls. The contractor is responsible for laundering, maintaining, inspecting, and repairing the coveralls according to specified standards.

The services include:
1) Weekly Coverall Laundering Services (3,120 each)
2) Coverall Repair Service (500 each)
3) Various sizes of Fire Resistant Coveralls as detailed in the solicitation including sizes from X-Small to 7XL in various quantities.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Naval Foundry and Propeller Center (NFPC).
