Description

Subject: Presolicitation Notice of Contract Requirement 377th Flight Test Missile Maintenance Squadron, Launch Facility Support Services at Vandenberg SFB, CA

1. This presolicitation notice is to provide an official notice to all interested parties that Government intends to issue Solicitation FA4610-23-R-0001, to provide Launch Facility Support Services at Vandenberg SFB, CA.

2. The draft solicitation is currently under review and the Government is providing advance notice that the official solicitation is expected to be issued on/about Wednesday, 23 November 2022 and posted on SAM.gov. Note: This is a tentative date and subject to change.

3. This acquisition will be procured pursuant to the requirements in FAR Part 15 Contracting by Negotiation. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code proposed for the requirement is 561210, Facility Support Services. The size standard for NAICS 561210 is $41.5 Million.

4. Interested parties are cautioned that the draft performance work statement (PWS) posted with this notice is subject to change; the formal version of the PWS will be released with the solicitation at a future date. All potential offerors are reminded that in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.204-7 System for Award Management lack of registration in the SAM will make an offeror ineligible for contract award. All interested parties are advised to continue monitoring SAM.gov for additional notices and changes to this requirement.

Background
The 377th Flight Test Missile Maintenance Squadron is seeking to provide Launch Facility Support Services at Vandenberg Space Force Base, California.

This contract aims to ensure the effective management and maintenance of launch facilities, aligning with the mission of the United States Space Force to maintain operational readiness and support national defense objectives.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:
1. Facility Management: Ensure compliance with safety standards, conduct inspections, and manage facility key control programs.
2. Safety Inspections: Periodically inspect facilities for safety hazards and report them accordingly.
3. Environmental Management: Manage environmental programs and hazardous waste in accordance with regulations.
4. Equipment Management: Maintain and issue support equipment, ensuring serviceability and tracking status through a centralized system.
5. Training Management: Provide necessary training for personnel, including CPR and other required courses.
