Laughlin Air Force Base (LAFB) - Base Operations Support (BOS)   3

The 338th Enterprise Sourcing Squadron (ESS), at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Randolph, Texas (TX), is planning to issue a Solicitation for non-personal services of Base Operations Support (BOS) at Laughlin AFB in Del Rio, Texas (TX). The proposed solicitation identifier is FA300222R0002. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 561210 - Facilities Support Services, with a small business size standard of $41.5 million, Service Code: S216, Facilities Operations Support Services. The period of performance will consist of a 60-day mobilization period, a 12-month base, four (4) 12-month options, and the possibility of two (2) 12 month incentive options. The proposed solicitation will be a Competitive 8(a) Small Business (SB) set-aside.

This requirement involves providing non-personal Base Operations Support (BOS) for the 47th Mission Support Group located at Laughlin AFB (LAFB), near Del Rio (Val Verde County), TX. The 47th Mission Support Group's mission is to provide base and community support for Laughlin's flying training mission while responding to global contingencies. The 47th Mission Support Group supports wing flying operations through a customer-focused team of diverse professionals who provide civil engineering, personnel, communications, services and law enforcement support for the Laughlin AFB community. Over 4,000 people and over 1,200 students per year are supported. The 47th Mission Support Group consists of the 47th Security Forces Squadron (47 SFS), 47th Force Support Squadron (47 FSS), 47th Contracting Squadron (47 CONS), 47th Civil Engineering Squadron (47 CES), and 47th Mission Support Group/Logistics Readiness Division (47 MSG/LRD).

A pre-proposal conference will be held approximately 14 days after release of the solicitation. The conference will be held at Laughlin AFB, TX over a 5 day period with the first and last day as travel. Each Offeror shall submit the following information to gain access to the Laughlin AFB BOS Pre-Proposal Conference:

Information must be submitted to the 338 ESS via email at melody.taylor@us.af.mil and paul.lewis.16@us.af.mil NLT 1400 CST, on the fourth (4th) day after release of the solicitation. Attendance is limited to two (2) attendees per Offeror, and two (2) backup attendees. If email cannot be encrypted, Offerors shall contact the POCs via email to arrange submitting the required information.
