Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Program Office, PMA-201, Patuxent River, Maryland,
awarded a one year sole source Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract to Lockheed Martin Corporation, Missiles and Fire Control (LMMFC), Archbald Pennsylvania, for full rate production contract for the Laser Guided Training Round (LGTR) BDU-59C/B and Production Engineering and Logistics Support.

This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. LMMFC is the original designer, developer and manufacturer of the LGTR BDU-59C/B, and as such owns the proprietary data that is required to perform the efforts under this requirement. LMMFC is the only company that has the requisite knowledge, production tooling, facilities and experience necessary to meet this requirement.
