Laselec wire and cable machine maintenance and calibration

Background
The solicitation is a Request for Information (RFI) and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. It is issued solely for information and planning purposes. The notice does not commit the United States Government to contract for any supply or service. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary and will not be compensated. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI).

Work Details
The contract involves providing maintenance and calibration services for CCAD’s Laselec MRO 200 UV Laser Wire and Cable marking machine. The contractor shall provide scheduled annual preventative maintenance/calibration, parts, materials necessary during performance of scheduled maintenance/calibration, and technical assistance to maximize the operational capability of the machine.

The contractor shall also provide on-site service when scheduled and as required during a 40-hour work week on regular workdays excluding federal holidays or facility/installation closings due to emergencies or administrative directives. Additionally, the contractor shall perform ongoing preventative maintenance procedures, conduct safety checks, notify the COR in advance of any new visitors to the depot, invoice CCAD within thirty days of each visit via the WAWF database, and adhere to specific performance standards outlined in the Performance Requirements Summary.

The place of performance for the contract is Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD), specifically within Hanger 45 Area.
