LARGE AREA InGaAS PHOTODIODES AMENDMENT 001 (A001)

Background
The solicitation is for the procurement of Large Area InGaAs Photodiodes. The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Sources and Detectors Group requires these photodiodes to be mounted in custom carriers to construct highly accurate radiometric transfer standards in support of calibrations that serve the quantum computing, quantum communications, and quantum measurement industry.

The technical specifications for the Large Area InGaAs Photodiodes include: Quantity of 18 large area InGaAs photodiodes mounted in ceramic carriers provided by NIST, material: InGaAs, spectral response range: 900 nm – 1600 nm, chip active area: 1 cm X 1 cm or 1 cm diameter, A/W at 1550 nm: ≥ 0.85, photo response non-uniformity over 80% of active area: ≤ 2%, packaging requirements, inspection and acceptance expectations, government-furnished property details, shipping and delivery timeline of maximum 20 weeks after receipt of order (ARO), phased delivery acceptance, and manufacturer warranty from the date of NIST acceptance.
