Landslide Repairs in Aibonito, Caguas, Guayama, Gurabo, and Patillas, Puerto Rico   3

Proposals from certified Small Business Concerns only will be accepted for Project PR ER DOT PRMNT RPR(13), Landslide repairs in Aibonito, Caguas, Guayama, Gurabo, and Patillas, Solicitation Number 693C73-22-R-000021, located in the municipalities of Aibonito, Caguas, Guayama, Gurabo, and Patillas, Puerto Rico. The project consists of repairing damage caused by Hurricanes Irma and Maria on PR-14, Km 54.3-54.4; PR-722, Km 5.7; PR-796, Km 4.4; PR-179, Km 13.25; and PR-181, Kms 8.7 and 46.4. The work includes embankment reconstruction, reinforced soil slope systems construction, drainage systems installation, concrete retaining wall, sheet pile wall, and soldier pile retaining wall, milling and overlay, pavement reconstruction, pavement markings, removal and replacement of guardrails, signage, temporary traffic control, and other miscellaneous work. The project will be split into multiple work schedules/contract options, with the cost of the entire project expected to fall within the price range of $5,000,000 to $10,000,000.

Solicitation documents should be issued on or about June 22, 2022. Proposal due date and location will be specified on the SF 1442, Block 13a of the Solicitation.

Offerors will be required to submit qualifications related to their construction experience in landslide repair construction projects. The Solicitation will include further information on these requirements. This will be a lowest price technically acceptable solicitation. All eligible certified Small Business firms/teams (Offerors) will be invited to participate in a two-step RFP process. The two steps will include the submittal of two proposal packages; a Technical proposal and a Price Proposal. A description of these proposals and their requirements can be found in the solicitation's Proposal Instructions (B Pages).

Annual Representations and Certifications FAR 52.204-8 (MAY 2022). The Representations and Certifications must be completed online at www.sam.gov. The required annual Form VETS-4212 must also be completed online at http://www.dol.gov/vets/vets4212.htm per FAR 52.222-37.

IMPORTANT PAYMENT REQUIREMENT
