Landscaping Materials - f.o.b Destination -- 5610   3

Background
The National Cemetery Administration is seeking to procure landscaping materials for the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. The goal of this contract is to ensure the timely delivery of essential materials used for burials and grounds maintenance, supporting the agency's mission to honor and memorialize veterans.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for all labor, supervision, materials, and equipment necessary to deliver the following landscaping materials to Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery:
1. Screened Fill Sand
2. Screened Planting Topsoil
3. Crushed Rock (Grade 4)
4. Crushed Limestone (Grade 3)
5. Mulch
6. Road Base Limestone (1 ½” to minus)
7. Texas Blend Rock (2” to 3”)
8. Decomposed Granite (1/4” to minus)

**Specifications:**
- **Screened Fill Sand:** Composed of durable rock fragments, free from undesirable materials.
- **Screened Planting Topsoil:** Must conform to ASTM D 5268 with specific pH and organic material content requirements.
- **Crushed Rock:** Must be clean, hard, and durable with specific gradation requirements.
- **Road Base Limestone:** Must meet specified gradation requirements for construction use.
- **Texas Blend Rock:** Natural river stone with specific size and color requirements.
- **Decomposed Granite:** Derived from friable granite with strict particle size specifications.

**Delivery Instructions:**
- Topsoil must be delivered using a 10CY Tandem Dump Truck or smaller due to height restrictions at the cemetery entrance.
- Other materials may be delivered by larger trucks via designated routes.

Period of Performance
Materials must be delivered within five (5) business days of receipt of order unless an alternate time frame is agreed upon in writing with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR).
