Background
The National Weather Service (NWS) operates under the mission to provide weather, water, and climate data, forecasts, warnings, and impact-based decision support services aimed at protecting life and property while enhancing the national economy.

The NWS Pacific Region (PR) manages a Weather Service Office (WSO) in Pago Pago, American Samoa, which requires landscape services to maintain the grounds in a clean, healthy, safe, and professionally attractive condition.

Work Details
The contractor is responsible for providing all equipment, labor, and materials necessary for landscape services at the WSO Pago Pago. The specific tasks include:

1. Grass Cutting and Edging: Maintain lawns at a height of 2 to 3 inches with a manicured appearance; edge ground cover against buildings and other structures.

2. Fence Line Clearing: Keep fence lines free of vegetation growth and remove debris on the same day as edging.

3. Weed Abatement Control: Control unwanted plant growth using approved chemical treatments after obtaining approval from the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) or Contracting Officer (CO). All work must be performed without interfering with the activities of the WSO.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over multiple periods:

- Base Period: May 1, 2025 to April 30, 2026;
- Option Period I: May 1, 2026 to April 30, 2027;
- Option Period II: May 1, 2027 to April 30, 2028;
- Option Period III: May 1, 2028 to April 30, 2029;
- Option Period IV: May 1, 2029 to April 30, 2030.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Weather Service Office located in Pago Pago, American Samoa.
