Landing Gear Repairs for MH65 Aircraft   2

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 70Z03820RB2000001 is issued as a request for proposals (RFP) using the procedures of FAR 12 in conjunction with FAR 15. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2020-01 effective 12 November 2019.

The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 488190. The small business size standard is $35 Million. This solicitation is issued as unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.

The United States Coast Guard (USCG), Aviation Logistics Center (ALC), Elizabeth City, NC intends to negotiate and award an Indefinite Delivery Requirements type contract on a competitive basis. Parts will be repaired and overhauled via issuance of individually funded task orders. Contractors having the expertise and required capabilities to provide these repairs/major repairs are invited to submit offers in accordance with the requirements stipulated in this solicitation. It is anticipated that an Indefinite Delivery Requirements type contract consisting of one (1) one-year base period and, if exercised, four (4) one-year option periods will be awarded as a result of this synopsis/solicitation.
