Description

Only Civil/Paving MACC Contractors listed on the General Requirements cover page may submit a proposal for this ROICC Camp Lejeune area of responsibility project. See attached documents for scope of work and any applicable drawings.

Background
The Landfill Closure Phase III project is being issued by the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) for Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.

The mission of NAVFAC is to provide facilities support to the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps, ensuring that they have the necessary infrastructure to fulfill their operational requirements. The goal of this contract is to complete the landfill closure in compliance with environmental regulations and standards.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Execute landfill closure activities as specified in the attached scope of work and drawings.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations regarding landfill closure.
- Provide qualified personnel to fill roles including Superintendent, Quality Control Manager, and Safety and Health Officer.
- Conduct site visits as required and coordinate with NAVFAC representatives.
- Submit all required documentation including bid bonds based on project value, payment bonds, and performance bonds as specified in the general requirements.
- Adhere to wage determinations under the Davis-Bacon Act for labor classifications involved in the project.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of 270 days after award.

Place of Performance
The work will be conducted at MCB Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.
