EFFECTIVE JUNE 30, 2021: The government has attached the attendance sheets from the Virtual Pre-Proposal meeting held on June 28, 2021 via Webex and the In-person Pre-Proposal Site Visit held on June 29, 2021 (please refer to the "Attachments" Section of this Notice).
ATTENTION INTERESTED CONTRACTORS - Below are the particulars for tomorrow's site visit (Tuesday, June 29, 2021), which will be conducted by the Chicago District at 10:00 a.m. (Central Time).
Site visit participants are instructed to obtain their visitor badges and view the safety video at BP Visitor Center at 2815 Indianapolis Blvd.

Then proceed to a Meeting Area outside the J&L Gate at 3605 129th Street. Upon turning off of 129th, please park in the gravel area to the left. There may be standing water in the parking area, so be aware. DO NOT ENTER THE J&L GATE.

Ron Dippo (BP) and Matt Carlson (Stantec) will be at the Visitor Center and Meeting Area to guide the site walk with the Army Corps of Engineers' representatives.

Under this Solicitation Notice, the United States Army Corps of Engineers - Chicago District issues Solicitation No. W912P621R0003 for the purposes of receiving technical and price proposals. Therefore, provided hereunder is the relevant Request for Proposals solicitation package for the construction project entitled, "LAKE GEORGE CANAL MIDDLE SECTION RESTORATION, LAKE COUNTY, INDIANA."
PROJECT INFORMATION: Under the Contract, the contractor will be required for remediation of contaminated sediment within the Lake George Canal Middle Section. The work includes placement of an amended sand cap over existing sediment, bank stabilization, installation of a geotextile, sheetpile installation, ecosystem restoration, and related work.
