Labware LIMS Development--Amendment 1   3

Background
The U.S. Army Dugway Proving Ground's Chemical Test Division is seeking to negotiate a sole source contract with LabWare, Inc. for additional capabilities related to an existing LabWare LIMS software system. The goal of this contract is to enhance the current system through advanced development and testing, which requires the expertise of certified LabWare consultants. This additional support is essential for completing the system and achieving full production, as only LabWare possesses the necessary proprietary software access and expertise.

Work Details
The contractor will provide advanced development and testing services for the LabWare LIMS software system. Key tasks include:
1. Providing qualified consultants with documented training and experience in LabWare LIMS development.
2. Ensuring that all contractor employees supporting IA/IT functions are certified as per DoD 8570.01-M upon contract award.
3. Identifying contractor personnel clearly as non-Government employees in all interactions.
4. Conducting development support primarily remotely, with provisions for on-site work if necessary, including coverage of travel costs in the contract price.
5. Adhering to non-disclosure requirements regarding proprietary data accessed during contract performance.
6. Completing required training such as Anti-Terrorism Level I Training and Information Assurance Training within specified timeframes after contract start or employment of new personnel.

Place of Performance
The primary place of performance will be remote; however, on-site work may occur at U.S. Government facilities as needed.
