The U.S Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) National Vehicle and Fuel Emissions Laboratory (NVFEL), located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, is requesting information from industry for Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) software and services for the Fuel and Chemistry Center to increase productivity, improve chain of custom tracking, and automate quality control checks for compliance with ASTM D6299, ISO 4259 & Tier 3. The U.S Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) National Vehicle and Fuel Emissions Laboratory (NVFEL) is seeking information from industry for Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) software and services for the Fuel and Chemistry Center. The purpose of this request is to increase productivity, improve chain of custom tracking, and automate quality control checks for compliance with ASTM D6299, ISO 4259, and Tier 3 regulations. The government is looking for a solution that supports existing instrumentation and methods, as well as migration from existing LIMS data stored in Microsoft Access. The solution should also meet regulatory requirements and provide capabilities such as quality assurance and control charting, sample tracking, reprocessing capabilities, and support for various sample types.

The government is requesting pricing information for training services, initial setup/professional services, legacy data import, annual support and maintenance, and ongoing custom development rates. They are also seeking answers to specific questions regarding the proposed solution's capabilities, technical system requirements, database backends, supported interfaces or integrations, and estimated timeline for project completion.
