This synopsis is to inform industry that the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to issue a solicitation to procure various parts of Crimping Tools and are as follows:

Extraction Tool (P/N: 910112104, NSN: 5120013613067)

Tool, Forming, Center Conductor (P/N: 910121119, NSN: 5120013608224)

Outer Shield Conductor Forming Tool (P/N: 910121126, NSN: 5120013896526)

Weight Gage Set (P/N: 910121131, NSN: 5220013978015)

Enlarging Tool (P/N: 910121142, NSN: 5120013896512)

Resizing Tool (P/N: 910121143, NSN: 5120013978014)

Weight Gage Set (P/N: 910121155, NSN: 5280013899729)

Crimp Positioner (P/N: 910104107, NSN: 5120013691506)

This is in support of the Foreign Military Sales F/A-18 E-F Super Hornet Program. The various Crimping Tools are used to properly crimp the male and female tir-paddle power contact pins.

The Government intends to procure the above items on a sole source basis to Dela Technology Corporation (CAGE: 2U435) under the authority of 10USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The solicitation, when issued, will be for a firm-fixed price contract.

THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) is mandatory for consideration. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
