KS FLINT HILLS NWR PRKING LOT REPLACEMENT   2

Background
The United States Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) is issuing this solicitation for the Flint Hills National Wildlife Refuge to support the construction of a new parking lot. The goal of this contract is to enhance visitor access, staff mobility, and overall site safety by providing safe, durable, and ADA compliant access through the replacement of concrete parking areas and sidewalks.

Work Details
The project includes the following construction tasks:
- Replacement of concrete parking areas
- Replacement of sidewalks
- All associated preparation, mobilization, facilities management, supervision, labor, subcontracting, equipment, materials, tools, testing, commissioning, training, permitting, insurance, bonds, taxes, and other costs necessary to complete the work as defined in the Scope of Work.

The specific work is categorized under Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) #0010 for Parking Lot Replacement.

Period of Performance
The contractor must begin performance within 10 calendar days after receiving the award and complete it within 240 calendar days.

Place of Performance
Flint Hills National Wildlife Refuge Headquarters.

Bidder Requirements
This is a 100% Total Small Business Set Aside. Bidders must meet the following requirements:
- Must possess necessary contractor or trade licenses.
- Must provide performance and payment bonds.
- Must comply with all solicitation requirements including representations and certifications.
- Must have experience in similar projects with documentation of past experience including 3-5 examples of recent projects completed within the last five years.
