Background
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), specifically the Bureau of Customs and Border Protection (CBP), is seeking to procure commercial kennel facilities and services to support the Canine Enforcement Program.
The goal of this contract is to provide high-quality kenneling services for CBP canines, ensuring their safety, health, and operational readiness.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supervision, and facilities required for kenneling services for CBP canines.
Key tasks include:
1. Providing a facility that meets specific requirements for indoor-outdoor access, sanitation, and security.
2. Ensuring 24/7 access for CBP Officers to retrieve their canines.
3. Cleaning and maintaining kennels in a safe and sanitary condition, including disinfection every four days.
4. Providing adequate food, water, and veterinary care as needed.
5. Maintaining records of all canines kenneled during each billing cycle.
6. Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding kennel services.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of five years.

Place of Performance
The kennel facility must be located no more than 25 miles from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection office at 5600 American Blvd. West suite 760, Bloomington, MN 55437.

Bidder Requirements
This opportunity is a Small Business Set Aside - Total (SBA).
Bidders must demonstrate capabilities in relation to the requirements set forth in the Statement of Work (SOW), including having a certified kennel manager if required by state law.
