Description

Keesler Air Force Base's Construction Industry Day is a unique opportunity for contractors to engage directly with the 81st Contracting Squadron. This event is designed to offer insights into upcoming contracts, give an overview of the acquisition process, and build strong relationships with potential contractors. This event is encouraged for both experienced contractors and those new to working with the Air Force. It is an invaluable opportunity for gaining information and networking with peers. Projected upcoming large projects and A&E design at Keesler AFB are anticipated to be solicited with the following NAICS codes: 236220, 238160, 238990, 237310, 541330, 238220, and 237110. Please note that the listed NAICS codes are subject to change. Join us to explore construction opportunities with Keesler Air Force Base.

Please note that seating is limited to 40 guests. Only one representative per company will be allowed.

The attachment gives a brief overview of the topics that will be discussed at the event.

The QR codes for both Questions & Answers and RSVP will also be included in the attachment. Any contractor is welcome to submit questions. A memo of the Q&A session will be released to SAM after the event. Due to limited seating, please only submit the RSVP if you plan to attend. We will reserve seats for the first 40 submissions then begin a waitlist.

Background
Keesler Air Force Base is hosting a Construction Industry Day to engage directly with the 81st Contracting Squadron. This event aims to provide insights into upcoming contracts, an overview of the acquisition process, and foster relationships between the Air Force and potential contractors. The Construction Industry Day will feature panel discussions covering various topics: Small Projects, Security Forces/Base Access, Small Business Representative, Acquisition Process, and Large Projects. Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in a Questions & Answers session.

RSVP is required due to limited seating (40 guests), with only one representative allowed per company. Contractors are encouraged to submit questions via a QR code provided in the attachment by the deadline of December 23, 2024, at 12:00 PM CST.
