Background
The Kansas City Job Order Contract (JOC) is issued by the Kansas City VA Medical Center (KCVAMC) to provide general construction work through an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract.

This contract aims to expedite the award process for construction requirements, reducing design work and acquisition lead-time. The solicitation is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), with a total aggregate value not exceeding $20,000,000.00 and individual task orders ranging from $2,000.00 to $500,000.00.

Work Details
The contractor will perform maintenance, repair, and minor construction work on real property at the KCVAMC.

Tasks include providing all labor, materials, supervision, project management, equipment, quality assurance, and safety compliance necessary for successful project completion. Specific roles required include an On-Site Superintendent with at least three years of relevant experience in similar facilities; a Project Manager with similar qualifications; a Quality Control Manager; and a Site Safety and Health Officer.

The contractor must also coordinate all work with the COR and ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental laws.
