Background
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS), specifically the Division of Refuge Law Enforcement Southwest (DRLESW), is responsible for replacing emergency vehicles at regular intervals. These vehicles require upfitting with essential equipment such as emergency lighting, audible warnings, control consoles, and other mission-specific tools to ensure the safety of Federal Wildlife Officers during their duties.

The goal of this contract is to acquire and upfit vehicles to enhance operational efficiency and safety in law enforcement activities.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Upfitting a 2024 Ford F150 with necessary emergency response equipment as outlined in the attached statement of work.
2. Ensuring that all upfitted vehicles meet public safety standards and are equipped for daily patrol work and investigations.
3. Providing a minimum twelve-month warranty on all work performed, with major components warrantied through their respective manufacturers.
4. Conducting on-site inspections of the upfitted vehicles prior to delivery, which requires consent from DRLESW’s Technical Representative or designee.
5. Arranging transportation for the vehicle to/from an upfitting facility, with costs covered by the awardee if more than 20 miles from the designated address, or by USFWS if less than 20 miles.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed from June 1, 2025, to October 31, 2025.

Place of Performance
The primary location for performance will be at U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service DRLESW, located at 3201 E Universal Way, Tucson, AZ 85756.
