Juxtapositional Acquisitional Signal Production Emitting Radar (JASPER)   3

Background
The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) Code 8140 is performing signal research requiring an antenna measuring 30 meters or greater in California. This effort is referred to as JASPER. The requirements of this Statement of Work (SOW) support RF (Radio Frequency) signal research for NRL Code 8140 used to support an overall space research program.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide scientific, technical and engineering research and development using a 30M Antenna system located in a specific geographic area. The antenna must operate at a rate of 1 degree per second with a pointing accuracy of 100th of a degree. It should be able to transmit or receive across frequencies at varying power levels and accommodate custom designed NRL equipment. Additionally, the contractor shall perform research and development that will result in highly precise generated pulses that will be transmitted from the antenna systems.

Place of Performance
The contract work is anticipated to be performed at the specified antenna facility and other NRL facilities within an 80,467-meter radius from the DoD space object ellipse center point of 36.597564 N,-121.897631 W in California.
