Background
The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) is seeking approval for a lease extension for office space located at Halmar Cargo Building, JFK Airport, Queens, NY.

The current lease, which encompasses 29,717 ABOA/34,175 rentable square feet and includes fourteen parking spaces, is set to expire on January 30, 2025. The extension is necessary to ensure continued occupancy while the GSA conducts a competitive procurement process for a new lease location due to market constraints and limited available options near JFK Airport.

Work Details
The contract involves negotiating an 11-month lease extension with the incumbent lessor to maintain occupancy at the current location starting from January 31, 2025.

The estimated rental rate for this extension is anticipated to remain consistent with the current rate per rentable square foot (RSF).
