Background
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center (JSC) is soliciting a vendor to provide laundering services. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, plant facilities, transportation, materials, and/or supplies necessary to provide rental, laundering, and delivery of bath towels to JSC and Sonny Carter Training Facility (SCTF). The Contractor shall report the number of bath towels laundered weekly, by location (building) to the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and Alternate COR. Billing shall occur on a monthly fixed‐price basis.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide bath towels in performance of this contract. Towels shall be a minimum 20” x 40” and shall weigh at least 5‐1/2 ounces. Towels shall be premium and lint‐free. All towels shall be laundered in accordance with standard commercial practice.

The estimated weekly quantities of bath towels for building 21 are 100 and for SCTF are 1500. The Contractor shall make a minimum of one pickup and delivery each week at the same time on a specific date arranged with the COR. The Contractor shall be responsible for maintaining satisfactory pickup and delivery service for all requiring elements of the Johnson Space Center.
