Description

The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Portland District awarded a sole source contract to (Advanced Telemetry Systems [ATS]) to supply 5275 individual Juvenile Salmonid Acoustic Telemetry System (JSATS) transmitters (tags) Model SS400 Series acoustic transmitters, Gen IV, 32 Model SR3001 receivers, 10 Model SR3017 receivers, and associated batteries, hydrophones, and cables. The JSATS tags and receivers will be used by the Department of Energy Pacific Northwest National Laboratory to conduct USACE sponsored research on juvenile salmon and steelhead passage and migration at Howard Hanson Dam in the Green River Basin during 2023.
